Mises is an absolutist. The logic and reasoning are seductive at first but it all runs off the rails by force of blind absolutism.

Mises Institute is not a hive mind. There are tons of ideas being bounced around there, not all one must necessarily agree with. The point is they are having the discussions, attempting at least academic integrity.

I see a lot of people just respond with such extreme emotion to your posts. I don't understand why, because all the ones I've read are well-reasoned. I get it that sometimes someone says something really vile, but I haven't seen a mean streak in you like this guy has.

As someone who believes that libertarianism is juvenile hearing someone call the words 'voluntary' and 'freedom' weasel words is hard to wrap my head around as is the idea that libertarians (of which there is a thousand flavors) are a cult. dumbest post ever.
