In 1943 close to five million people in the Indian state of Bengal died from starvation, malnutrition and disease. The British, led by Winston Churchill, took tens of thousands of tons of grain to feed its troops and allies, leaving millions of Indians to starve and die. pic.twitter.com/csvdhvvLL3

Well, not really since Churchill started the war. He had the UK end it's alliance with Japan, and had them cut off from oil. He also created conditions which forced war from Germany. When you're the more powerful side you can start the war without firing a shot first.

After Japan increased its sphere of influence driven by militarism and Nationalism in China '31 (J. left league of nations) and Indochina (oil embargo). Also Japan feared Soviets, signed anti comintern pact with Germany.

You need to look into the earlier part of the 20th century when the UK was a treaty ally with Japan, and then, for no reason, broke the treaty, and made Japan an enemy.

It was the French who wanted crippling compensation from Germany which lead to the rise of National Socialism. Britains Lloyd George wanted reparation but not to cripple Germany as it is self-defeating and he wanted peace in Europe. France wanted to crush Germany.

If you want to blame it on WWI, we can. But the war stopped and Germany did not want war with the west, and made genuine and fair peace efforts. But it was zionism that did that trick. The German banking class response to the Balfour Declaration was the "stab in the back."

Rob, your insight to the history that is real and hidden from the masses is bang on. Like most things given to our civilization, it is bastardized, politicized, skewed , and full of doctrine. History is just that!

Thanks. Unfortunately, history has always been this way. Caligula, for instance...most of what we think we know of him is garbage. The accounts of Emperors were written by the Senate, and they smeared him badly after death because he'd made moves to take the Senate down.

Molyneux is correct. Read the Newspapers of the time; corruption and profiteering by provincial governments was rife, and abuse of Statutes was never address. India was Zimabawe on the Ganges. A tweet from IU is not equivalent to recorded Indian voices of the time. Read.

The British destroyed natural farming cycles in India and forced Indian farmers to produce as per the factory needed raw materials in Britain, and caused famines which killed millions of poor Indians.
