Just saw part 1 of 4, of a documentary Slavery Routes, and it was about the Muslim slave trade, it surprised me a bit but it ended by saying that next came the whites and then slavery became so much worse...so this documentary was too good to be true.

I listen to the History of Philosophy podcast which has covered in cheery fashion Muslims conquering Christians, Hindus, and other Muslim sects, because this is just what groups did back then, but when it came to the British in India, conquest suddenly became shameful oppression.
