The ol' Keynes v Hayek debate... Yes, a broken window brings a temporary job, but the money spent there delays the development of better things. Or like in the loss of a child mayb forever end its development. There ARE straws that break our backs

It's certainly good for corporations that manufacture arms used by militaries.

War is good for the economy if it secures resources or prevents the restriction of resources.

Broken window fallacy. War is a highly inefficient use of scarce resources, that could alternatively be used for other more efficient uses.

It sure creates economic growth for politicians and certain corporations.

When we steal resources from other regions, we destroy competition. Does that strengthen the dollar? (I'm no economist....)

This is the old war economy thing. All that government spending stimulates. I really don't know this subject perfectly.
