I worked on the road mostly. Still, my wife and I managed to homeschool 5 kids. We committed to raising the kids not pawning them off on schools, daycare, etc. Kids are not an "add on" to your life, they are your life.

Kids are not an "add on" to your life, they are your life. So True!! Many parents don’t view their kids like this.

It has been my experience when my daughter mentions that she wants to be a stay at home mom, grown women freak out and scare her, demanding that she educate herself because she can be so much more, now she says she is not sure if she even wants to have kids!
-
That's fear. Fear that a man won't stay and support you when you're needy & dependent with babies Your daughter will believe a man will be good to her if you point out all the ways your husband supports you Talk to her about this. Help her select a good husband later.
-
You’re spot on. I’m a stay at home/homeschool mom of 4. I have a great godly husband and he never says “his money” it’s always “our money”. I trust him. Most women will never allow that sort of trust on a husband, it gives them panic.

Good job!

Agreed, meanwhile millennials overwhelmingly vote liberal, leading to more spending, higher taxes, higher cost of living etc, downward spiral caused by their own socialist tendencies

And yet some look down on stay-at-home moms. Really sad.

But the wages on offer are so low you can’t afford to live the on one wage.

One reason being we’ve added 50% of the population into the workforce The more potential laborers you have, the less valuable labor is
-
“We’ve added” as though it was conscious. Capitalism drive the unit cost of production down towards zero. Without thinking about happiness or home life.

Maybe people in advanced countries, either instinctively or consciously, just want fewer people? It’s our political leaders who keep wanting to import more people.
