My wife was a fulltime mum for both of our sons until the youngest was in secondary school. We didn't want our children to be collected at the school gate by anyone else. I was on a low wage and worked two jobs and many hours to provide for my family. We had old cars, cheap (1/2)

FYI: most households dont make enough to get ahead. Rent seekers have perfected theft of time & money. Most people are employed just to service other workers who are without the means to survive without the substandard services. Hence a + feedback loop of social decay.

What if parents have a very close relationship with their children and choose part time language immersion day care? Would that be considered parental replacement?
