The harsh truth:
Daycare is for people who prioritize
over raising their own children.
People who choose the former life will likely never agree w this claim.
They can’t unless they can admit they were wrong. Sadly you only get one chance with each child.

Unless you know you need to pay bills, mortgages etc but carry on..

A small family can survive on 1 income. It requires sacrifice and not putting money first though. My blue collar dad worked hard so that Mom could take care of me and my 5 siblings through our childhoods.
-
Wait a sec... So only mothers need to stay home with the kids?
-
Moms breastfeed kid.
-
It's the natural order, people are hell bent on disrupting it.

Daycare gives kids their 1st interaction with people outside family. They learn group socialization, how to share toys, communication skills, physical activity, etc. Staying at home all day with momma will not prepare them optimally for life's challenges.
-
Incorrect. First interactions with people outside of the family are usually trips to the park/store/anywhere outside the house with...you guessed it...their parents! Daycares just shove the kids in a room and try their best to entertain a horde of bored toddlers.

I had one child at 30, another at 38. I regret not starting at 20 and having loads more kids. I had a career first, a career I could give a shit less about now that I'm a mother and happily stay home. Thanks Mom for the bad advice. I'm lucky I could recover, many can't.
-
And there are those who regret having kids at 20 and not finishing there education or building a career before starting a family. Let’s face it: you can’t win either way.
-
The career will be there, the ovaries wont.
-
True. The ovaries do age along with everything else...

I had daycare bruise one of my babies by squeezing her arm, another worker was fired for telling kids to nap or they would get worms/roaches put in their mouths. Recently a more terrible thing happened to a family members’ kid at daycare. Listen to Stefan here...

It's been worth every unearned penny not using childcare services.
-
Right there with you. My wife stays at home and we could have a lot more money but she is the one who is raising our 2 small boys. Very blessed.

I was abused in daycare. Homeschooled both my kids. Best decision ever.
-
Same. We're in our 16th year of homeschooling. I haven't regretted it once.
