The old testament is basically just a long explanation of who's Jewish, and how Jewish they are, based on the tribe(s) of their parentage.

Easy. Ask secular Jews if they are Jewish. They most assuredly consider it ethnic. Then ask religious Jews. You’ll likely get the same answer.

Judiasim has become both a religion AND an ethnicity dep. on context, because of its historical development and close attachment to a group of inter-marrying people. BTW beware of anything starting as "it's simple ..." etc.

Knowing and admitting that Jewish economic superiority is mainly caused by their genetic superiority, rather than the Jewish network, is the best way to no longer be anti-Semitic, but rather philososemitic. I remain personally opposed to Judaism, since I am anti-religious.
