I wouldn't profess to know what
@benshapiro meant by that. But being "Jewish" is more complicated. In fact, his tweet specifically mentions a genetic subset, and from that one can reasonably infer that there are other distinct genetic subsets . -
Apparently the DNA test services have figured out the way, and what they figured out and the results achieved by
@benshapiro were not a surprise to him. -
It’s in Genesis 10. Ashkenaz was of the lineage of Japheth, Shem’s brother. Ashkenazi jews therefore are not Semites (of Shem), but are descendants of Eastern Europeans (Ashkenazi) that subscribe to Judaism. After reading the above revelation 2:9 and 3:9 make a lot more sense.

They identify as a race or religion, it depends on what's politically convenient. Jewish leftist calls it a race to contrast their self from the white (right-wing majority) amongst their leftist peers, but they identify as white when they're amongst the politically naive.

At this point, they should say they are black in spirit or say they have a mental trait that manifested genetically that makes them have a leftist/rebellious mindset which is common amongs the black population.

Because the average IQ of Jews is not in fact as high as is claimed by many. The average IQ of Isreal, which about 1/3 Ashkenazi, is 95. This means that if Ashkenazi Jews in fact had the often asserted IQ of 115, the other 2/3 of the population would be at 85.

That is on par with US blacks. Now imagine for a moment if black US citizens made up 2/3 of the American electorate. Could we even have a functioning democracy?
