See that’s the problem with this idea of “helping” or “equality” or whatever. Is it kindness to force loans to people just to have their homes foreclosed on later? Is it kindness to allow millions of foreigners into your country just to leave them without resources later?

I knew it was going to be bad when I watched a house hunting show and a woman janitor qualified for a $200,000 ARM mortgage. Her live-in boyfriend had bad credit & his name was not on the contract. The mortgage eventually 'adjusted' the interest rate!

Because we did nothing to fix the underlying problem, our reliance on an insane amount of debt. They should have just let the bubble burst so that we could all move on with our lives. Imagine how good the economy would be we didn't have to spend every dollar just for a roof.
