pure socialism has never been implemented so it cannot “fail” but even in regards to e.g. USSR, the regime didn’t fall because it was socialist but because the entire world back then was capitalist.

I'd like to know why people mine the ranks of conspiracy theorists in order to sell books and podcasts. Do they have a greater intensity/brand loyalty than sane people and therefore buy more, or more loyally?

I don't believe in grand conspiracies because they would require too much mutual secrecy. Once you start dividing up the money and power, people begin to argue and the secret is out. Much easier for the single magician on the stage to manipulate a few rubes for profit.

What about 9/11? It kind of started this whole thing in the middle east.
