        A huge difference. Phrenology was only a real science until it was found to not relate to reality. It was a honest effort to test a hypothesis and it turned out go be wrong. At that point the real scientists abandoned the field.

        It would however not surprise me if some of the data the real phrenologists (prior to finding it not working) collected have been of use in some other field.
