Not everyone who goes to war really comes back. I use the term 'war' metaphorically. You don't need bullets going by your head to have psychological damage from being trapped by law, in a group with poor leadership, by people in their 20s with the lowest levels of education.

Also what's not probably being put in this stastic although I am saying this as a Canadian ex military been to Afghanistan. Soldiers that go to wars like Iraq to find out they were there not to give freedom but about oil will weigh on them that can lead to higher statistics.

Less than 1% of the military is in a cimbat zone at any given time, it's not combat fatigue. It's shitty leadership.
