It has more to do with narcissism, entitlement and reliance on the state due to 16-20 years of care from it. But children of single mother's have their father replaced by the state so those children by that alone demand continued care fron the state.

Daycare most kids went to was soviet style. The mother's were being sent off to work due to no fathers but govt subsidized daycare was raising their child.
