Isn't the 74% classed as 'out of wedlock', meaning that in some of those cases father could be present but simply not married to the mother?

I think so, but considering that that ‘out of wedlock’ group as a whole seems to underperform lumping them in doesn’t appear to be problematic

It isn't just welfare. It's also the corporations. An intact nuclear family will have one washer one dryer one refrigerator - a fractured family will have to buy two or more of each.

So true, Stefan, at 65 I've seen the welfare system through several generations. Some treat parenthood as a career choice. Have a baby, get paid by your government as you drag your child up with you. It's sad to see the decline of the nuclear family. Tru u have 6 children?

I’d say it was more related to the death of religion and the rise of capitalism / the seeking out of ones own best interests. One thing is for sure, the behavior seems to propagate and grow....it is hereditary
