Wearing makeup is very professional. It makes you look more awake and presentable. You might look "undone" or like you are "Tired" without it, and men comment on it. It could absolutely affect your business or job. Men are too used to women wearing makeup; it is now the default.

A woman walking into work with zero makeup on is equivalent to a man going into work with tousled, messy hair and disheveled facial grooming. It's all about appearance of effort.
-
This is not true. Where I worked plenty of women wore no makep or so minimal as to not be noticable. And it was a gov't office with many female employees.

It's been a couple weeks of this. It's getting repetitious. Can we move on something like drug abuse or socialism?

High heels I've already said are ridiculous, bright lipstick I think just looks garish. But a little makeup does improve some women's appearance, as long as they don't overdo it. And both women and men are better off looking well groomed when they go out in public.

It helps if you’re in sales!
-
That's a good point. Personally, I would not let a salesperson's appearance influence my decision, but a lot of people do.
-
Attractive sales people have it naturally easier then unattractive sales people. I’m sure that’s true!
