I never tried to raise boys...I was always burdened by the thought of raising men.
Women raise boys. If those boys turn into bad men, women had SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT! Women are an integral part of the cycle of violence. Until they admit that, general victimhood is a dangerous pose.

It certainly helps to have a father in the picture to raise them together. But women are fully capable of raising fine young men on their own. It just takes effort and dedication.

Ironically mentally unstable people raised by single fathers are exceedingly rare. Would love to see counter-arguments backed by data.

Moms can only teach boys to cope with life using female life-skills & will never warn or teach boys how to deal with a woman's provisional mining skills. Boys raised by single moms grow being used & feeliing confused about their identity w/o cultivating any male survival skills.

Yes, women should bear 50% of the responsibility. Unfortunately, they often carry the whole load, when a father is absent for whatever reason, and then we blame mom when men (who had no proper father figure to guide them) turn out to be jerks.
