Childcare for my children costs more than I can make in wages. So I chose to stay home and homeschool my children. EVERYONE is happier, the children are better educated and learning actual life skills, the house is spotless, and home-cooked meals are healthier. It’s so worth it!

Amen. Good for you I did the same when I realized we weren’t breaking even. So I went home raised my kids. Home schooled and I don’t regret a minute of it. My daughter has done the same.

This is why at 22 we opted to have a stay at home mom and budget around a single income. I didn't have the earning potential to cover childcare AND make a contribution to household income. Some moms have grandparents to provide childcare. And some make more than I did. CHOICES.

What is your view of kids being with their grandparents during the day?

It’s unfortunate that women aren’t naturally figuring out what a gift it is to be able to take care of their own children.

If parents can not afford to fund their new kids coming into the world then they should not be having babies. Simple. I disagree entirely with the rule that maternity pay is given. Parents should save to cover the financial burdens no rely on employers or the state for handouts.

I guess you've never heard of luck. Luck is the single biggest factor in someone's success or failure. Lucky, successful CEO's hate this concept however studies have shown how important luck is. It's lucky there were born with the genes they had, the time period, the country, etc

You mean to say......practically doubling the workforce has had a negative impact on wages? (((Feminism))) is indeed a war on women.

When women started to join the "workforce", our culture drastically changed. Stability no longer existed, and children were not nurtured properly by their mothers. There's NO SHAME in being Mrs. Cleaver! Those were the good days...

Funny. As a single mom working as a waitress. I raised two great kids. Paid my own childcare. Priorities. Didn’t get my nails done. Cut my own hair. Made lunches. It can be done.
