In a recent study, a woman was sent out to ask random men to fill out a survey. After a while, she changed shoes. Based on her shoes, how many men were willing to take her survey? Flats: 47% of men Medium heels: 63% High heels: 83% High heels get men to give more resources.

Some Evol. Pysch (David Buss) believe it brings curvature of the spine more in line to what is perceived as optimal. The non heels picture look a bit masculine in my eyes. Not much but it add up with other things. Western women typically wear pants nowadays with shirts being rather rare. Being in a male dominated occupation also make her a bit masculine.

I take women in heels more seriously. It's obvious that they are willing to work and inconvenience themselves to accomplish something. A pair of Keds is a display of selfish laziness.

Or..... they don’t want to have their feet literally deformed. High heels are not a uniform conferring competence.
