The thing that shocked me was the part about social workers giving homeless people bus tickets and spending money to leave wherever they're from and go to California. What the actual **** is up with that?!!

In order to understand what exactly is going wrong it would be helpful to know how those who run the city get elected/removed and the structure of agencies involved, as well as the benefits available, particularly for veterans.

Really enjoying this series, especially when you invest time with affected individuals, allowing them to share their experiences, not cutting them off prematurely. I hope the good people of New CA get their state soon.

I used to live a few hours north. And last visited the city in 90' it looked nothing like this. I think that most are lazy and looking for the hand out. Instead of giving the hand up. Look at St Petersburg. Mayor there helped move these folks back to society. @seanhannity
