Both right and wrong. Goy means nation, Jewish People called 'goy' many times. In common parlance goy is non-Jew. Not derogatory at all!

The Torah is hardly recognized by modern Jewry (except for persecuted Jewish sects like the Karaites etc.) The Talmud is Judaism's 'holiest' book and usurps anything written in the Torah/ Tanakh.
