You just said it involves numbers and facts. That's like pure pain nowadays.

If numbers = influence, let’s talk numbers. Noam Chomsky is a highly respected philosopher. His books are available all over the world in mainstream bookstores and (nearly) every library and university. He may not seem “popular”, but wait...
-
...there was a somewhat well known documentary made about him. It was available at my local video store years ago. More importantly, he is respected by philosophy professors all over the world. Before you dismiss that, consider that all of those professors teach classrooms...

...every year and pass that influence onto students. Therefore, the number of people with a serious interest in philosophy over the past 50 or so years have likely been influenced by Chomsky. I think it’s a safe bet that Chomsky is just one modern philosopher that is more...

Being popular doesnt mean you are right or make sense for that matter, it could just mean your fans are not very intelligent or lack the ability to think critically.

Please explain to me how a machine can store, communicate and process information in Binary, when numbers are abstract concepts that can't exist.
-
Computers don’t know about numbers. A computer is a circuit which is carefully crafted to behave in a way which is consistent with our existing ideas of arithmetic. We supply meaning, not the machine. The abstract concepts remain in our heads.
-
The device is crafted to behave in a way that is consistent with basic physics nothing to do with arithmetic. I'll give you a follow so you can go from zero to one!
