From my cursory research approx 50% of American female astronauts were/are childless. They all have advanced degrees though!!!

Had a friend with 7 children. He said that after the third child, it becomes easier as you can recycle clothing and the older ones can help out!

When are workplaces going to support mothers bringing their infants with them? A breastfeeding mother who works has to deal with a lot of crap in order to make sure her kid has food and is cared for while her husband AND her (usually not OR) are at work.
