Don't forget the increased CO2 means less oxygen. Less oxygen, weaker fires. Funny how a few extra molecules can occasionally have positive effects.

Thanks Stefan. Please help Brazil. We are under the attack of globalists. We are under the attack of a man ( Macron) who is using the situation for political means with French farmers scared of Brazilian goods. We are under the attack of nations with an eye to Amazonian riches

Straw man and I'd suspect a basic misunderstanding of biology

Co2 is literally one of the building blocks of life itself.

Carbon based life forms.

Developped countries decimated their forests and now want to tell Amazon countries what to do with theirs. The colonialist mentality and hipocrisy here are self-evident. Not to mention the goal of keeping the agricultural development of these countries below threat level.

75% of the Earth surface is covered by water. Only a fraction of the remaining 25% is forested. Phytoplankton in the ocean consume far more CO2 than the Amazon ever did. But all the chicken littles want to do is condemn human beings for carving out a living from a wilderness.

Indeed: surely the carboniferous era was known for its massive tree-fern forests made possible by a slightly higher CO2
