I am curious why they used "holocaust" to describe the concentration camps. Holocaust, or "burnt offering" was a term used historically for a sacrifice. I've seen documents that used the term when they were accused of sacrificing a child. Who made the offering? To whom/what?

The funny thing about this is that a lot of people freak out when you equate shit that Israel has done to the Jews, and vice versa, but would be perfectly okay with it if you made a similar connection to White people and their nations. They can't see their own bigotry.
