You have to read it the right way to understand what it means, and what doesn't mean: "Diversity is OUR strength." As in "OUR strength against YOU."

That must be why The State pushes for diversity. A more diverse population is more dependent on the state. It keeps them in power with less resistance.

The exception would probably be church communities? Able to have diversity and together do all the above. (Yes, I know I'm leaping to another category.) Just thought I'd mention.

I've recently started joining in with a Christian social circle and their sense of shared values and community is incredible. You just can't get this with an atomised, non-homogeneous culture.
