Cultures are a genetic construction
-
True. Similar genes create similar cultures but it is also the other way around. Genes adapt to the culture because the better you fit in, the better your chance of having many children. Providing you are a homogenous people that is.

It's not primarily about intelligence, or discipline. What really made Europe was playfulness, rebellion, exploration. The slightly more intelligent aren't making the most inventions or dreaming up new forms of art (not even close).

I can see the CCP shaking with fear. They do not know what to do.
-
They can’t tank their way out of this one. There wouldn’t be a boycott, it would be a blockade.
-
Plus I think HK is pulling in a lot more hard currency line of their budget than people expect. CCP is trying to figure out how to recage the Golden goose while still getting it to lay eggs.
-
Good point. It’s their main access point to global financial markets.

I hate to say it (not really), but you may have just made your point about correlation between IQ and dissent.
-
Quality of dissent is a factor.
-
Indeed. [Insert French Yellow Vests vs Hong Kong Chads meme here]
-
can you expand on yellow vests?
-
The Yellow Vests have been persistent, but unless the protestors can coalesce into a focused unit with a shared goal in mind, it will ultimately be nothing more than a drag on France. The HK protests are very focused, organized, and prepared to fight as a team.
