Tax cuts driving up deficits is nonsense. That so many people repeat it is a symptom of leftist information propaganda, i.e., communism.

That last bit, that should be a click through message before being able to reply to anything on here.

Tax revenue went up after tax cuts as did spending and the deficit. It proved two things at once. More taxes doesn't mean more money for government and that if you give government more money they won't pay the debt or lower something responsible. They just spend more.

Perception doesn’t matter once the economic consequences of bad policies sets in.

Tax rate cuts don’t necessarily reduce tax yield anyway.
