-Incredulity is not an argument. -Relationship between crime & poverty is more complex than one driving the other, more likely that same factors that drive one drives the other. - % of terrorism by white ppl = % white of population, so proves nothing They are being replaced.

And the "legacy" of welfare is linked to a rise in crime in many ways.A nation that expects & demands things as their "right" will keep on wanting more! Welfare has created a selfish society & instilled the ideology that it's OK to take from people who are better off than them

Don't agree. If I'm hungry and I can't afford to buy the bread in front of me, and I'm desperate enough and see an opportunity, I will steal it. The causal chain is: poverty -> hunger -> desperation -> opportunity -> crime

I have heard @jordanbpeterson say the same thing. U could put any successful person in a poor neighbourhood he/she would lift themselves out Unfortunately IQ and Parenting Techniques lock people in to bad habits creating crime exceptions 2 the rule entrepreneurs drug dealers 🙏

True. Motivation & Morality are both variables in this chain. I used hunger as the motivator, but you could substitute almost anything ("Maslow's needs"). Morality I replaced with desperation, because at some point morality will become compromised if the need is great enough.

True wit ur statement ina broad sense. I wld drink my own piss in a 127 hours situation Poor ie living in 🇺🇸 which is great relative 2 the 🌍 doesnt fit desperate on a worldly scale Example If hunger is the variable Hungry/crime correlation would add up every time ie Africa 🙏

If the standard of morality is low enough, then yes, the correlation of hunger to crime would be high.

People with high-time preference are bad at making money (in honest way) and are more prone to committing crime. High-time preference = less civilized also.

Crime forces businesses + working individuals to leave an area; increases poverty. Demotivating factors; if you live in a high-crime area your property can be stolen+seeing criminals make more money than workers. Single parent households are less resilient to tough circumstances.
