WHY do women wear nail polish? To show that they don't have to do manual labor. This signals that they are attractive enough to have reeled in a wealthy Alpha male and/or that they have a comfortable office job. Female status signals are EVERYWHERE!

women don’t do their nails for men, they do them for themselves.
Must be tough to realize that men are not the center of the universe in every aspect of life a woman’s life.

Ppl will judge nice manicures negatively too. There are passively racist people who think food servers handling dishes of ready to eat meals with long "ghetto nails" are unsanitary. It's a catch 22. Long nails or manicured just polished nails have a variable tip affect if any.
