I’m 53. Good health. Still... Aches and pains emerging. I have 30+ years to go. I have a wife and a child. Who is going to take care of you? Who are you going to take care of when you’re too old and creaky to be worth it to someone new? PLAN for the decline of your life

I’m 45. My mom has dementia. I use my free will to help her because she needs it. I am going in a 1/2 hour to get a pizza for lunch and then do her grocery shopping, what I do every Thursday. Yes, teach your children to be like trees - grounded and reaching for the stars.

They're the same ones that say we need to import other country's families to do the jobs Americans don't want to. Pump out kids, stop aborting them, bare up the responsibility of raising them and you'll have your home grown labor force.

Stefan is spot on. I'm 35 with two babies and I regret starting so late. There is going to be a tidal wave of aged millenial depression in the years to come when my generation realizes they robbed themselves of true joy and legacy. Women especially. Enjoy your careers, ladies.

There is no guarantee your children will take care of you and ppl who don't have kids usually have nieces & nephews. I stepped up to help my aunt. Kids should take care of their parents but society has pushed narcassism. Ppl put themselves first today.

Children as a retirement plan is part of the reason so many people are born into poverty throughout the world. First born inheriting farmland land while the others after slaving on it for years get left with little still very common. Have kids to provide more love in the world.

If you see children as a paycheck or a money pit, you're missing the point entirely.
