And his particular bubble of elitism is a rather large one, isn't it, with a specific multitude in it.

And yet if one race, I won't say which, decided to band together and take over the world tomorrow, they would.

While there is an elitist bubble around
@benshapiro , most people like myself that are in the lower income bracket have a spending problem. This usually never gets discussed because it won’t buy votes from either party, also an argument of government intervention that is added. -
That's a good point. Dave Ramsy talks about that and Chip Ingarm.
-
Absolutely, I myself was absolutely guilty of this. I’m doing better now, even I wish I learned this when I was much younger. Still in the process of making the sacrifice now so I can live better tomorrow.

A guy I use to watch on YouTube said this and it stuck with, "there's an old man way down the road that you need to take care because that old man is you."

He's just like a mirror image of the leftist academics. No contact with reality. Instead he has a theory of reality ! The only reason he's sometimes right isn't because he's an intellectual but because he's a conservative.

I had to work a labor job 6 days a week 10 hours a day for 3 years and drove through traffic for an hour to get to and from work. Had I known I could just choose my work and pay maybe I wouldn’t have developed ulcers from the stress.

my mom worked two jobs because she finally divorced her dead beat husband and had no choice in order to provide for her 4 kids at home. Not everyone that has 1+ jobs is always in a position to pick and chose.

Shapiro is taking minimal standards for granted. It's easy to turn down a stingy job when you're confident that others will also. But it's a whole different ballgame when you're competing with people from third-world countries who are lucky to get one full meal a week.

Indeed! Not everyone is born in an ideal environment where they are encouraged and educated by those around them to achieve what he has. I worked as a teenager whilst still at school for a pittance to help a single mum of 4. Nobody helped me with my homework. Holier than thou bs

A lot of people did. Shapiro really missed the mark here.
-
Do you still have to work multiple jobs?
-
Nope. Hard work pays off. I'm very fortunate.
-
I think that is the point?
