In this modern time it may not directly say, “fertility.” But women who wear well-applied makeup, including , are overtly stating they care about appearance & curry the societal perks that go along with looking nice. Just so happens lipstick is the easiest cosmetic to apply!

pretty sure she's right. But that's only because they aren't equating "attractive" or sexy with "fertile". Also: a whole lot of shit is marketed and sold to people who don't understand why they want it and buy it. Conclusion: not an argument.

We do, it’s true! It just may be masked by modernity & concepts of fashion. I believe a certain appearance is more professional than others. In sales, I wear heels, jewelry, makeup, &fix my hair (all modestly). It’s what I do; who I am. And I always freshen my before meetings
