"White" is not and has never been a single culture or society. Giving white people in general credit for Britain's efforts to end slavery (which only happened during a specific period) is a goalpost shift.

Empty list. Free markets and property rights weren't described, by those who first identified them, as "created." Equality under Law is a principle found independently in disjoint legal systems (China and a couple centuries later, Greece). Modern civilization inherited these.

The British empire was certainly right to forcibly dismantle the international slave trade. That's one thing on the list they get credit for. But you're not merely cheerleading 19th century Britain are you? Far from it.

the person replying to you couldn't name a country or society I keep hearing chattel slavery was the worst kind of slavery I wonder if there has ever been any kind of in-depth analysis on slavery that states chattel slavery was the worst kind all others were much more humane
