What now we are supposed to view the Germans and Japanese as victims of WWII? Dresden, there we dozens of equivalent firebombings in Japan napalm on paper cities. Civilians always suffer the most.

They were victims. If you believe otherwise you haven't studied enough.

I think they were casualties of war. War is waged to win, the Germans and Japanese has committed atrocities across the globe. Marching children into gas chambers, Germans either knew or were willfully ignorant. Bombing London wasn't led to Dresden.
