For the record I realize I have to beat the odds but rather than defend my mistakes I'm trying to help the younger not fall in my footsteps. A 17 yr old peer of mine I got into an electrician apprenticeship and he hasn't even started senior yr yet. By 20 he'll be making $100k/yr.
