In most cases, very true. But like I said in another response, I wants knew someone who got clocked by their boyfriend, they immediately left him, and found out she was pregnant with his child a couple weeks later.

I think there needs to be more instruction on the signs because two of my sisters married violent men. One tried to kill my sister the other threatened to kill the whole family. Neither had signs before.
