Of course we should be grateful to our mothers. And mothers should take their jobs very seriously as it is the most important job on the planet. BUT it does not follow that therefore all women should have children! Why do you think they should?

He's said, they've been shown (take the studies as you may) to be happier, and live longer and be at reduced risk of cancer and disease. Sounds like decent reasons to recommend it. Clearly no one is forcing anyone to do anything (including listen to him)
-
I am all for women having children. But to condemn those who don’t? And then to suggest that it is because they want to drink wine?? It is reckless behaviour. Mr Molyneux is being unkind and charmless.

It’s OK if you haven’t been following this debate, but please stop chiming in when you lack information

Ah ok. Point taken. It is true I haven’t been following. Still- you need to qualify your responses- ‘ Those women who choose to drink instead...’ etc.
-
You've come in at the end of a stream of women who eschew childbirth, claiming that they have no problems being happy, along with an abundance of martini emojis spattered across it, etc. I'd say go and read it, but don't. Much bile has been thrown his way from hateful feminists.
-
And thank you for the explanation! Mr Molyneux was correct - I didn’t know the background. And I would not agree with those feminists. Although I wouldn’t go as far as he does.

I don't think you get the concept that people who aren't alive can't feel any kind of loss as a result of not being alive, even if we did have some moral obligation to bring them into existence, which we don't.

Forsaking existence to beings is not immoral in the slightest.

Sounds like something Stalin would say.

Evolution is only a theory and a fairy with many many holes in it. I don't know who to thank for being in this weird world we live in.

My students are my gift to the future. Not narcissistic enough to think only biological children are a heritage
-
Except they aren't your gift to give. They were given by their parents.
