I feel you. The only kids I like are my own and then, just barely.
I'm kidding, I love my kids. But I can damn sure understand why some choose not to have them. My greatest love, and at times, my greatest heartbreak.

While I agree that having children is likely the best path towards happiness for the vast bulk of people, the argument that it is necessary is not strong anymore, due to automation. In the next 50 years, 95% of production will be automated. Humans for manual labor is archaic.
