Raising children requires great personal & financial sacrifice, which many are not willing to undertake. A productive young adult is worth millions to society. Our culture doesn’t value parenting effort. We only value scalable activities. Yang is the only one talking about this.

Most of us will not invent industries, cure cancer or break new ground in physics. For most of us, raising our kids well is the greatest contribution to society we will make.
