That just makes me incredibly sad. No sterilisation should be carried out on a young woman unless she carries the genes for devastating chromosomal abnormalities, or if her own life/health is in danger. This isn't empowerment. I hope she doesn't get that clarion call of nature.

Have you noticed there’s a disproportionate amount of “I this” and “I that” in these people’s tweets. It’s like they’re vacuous misfits, but somehow completely self-aggrandizing and self-absorbed

It's easy to say this in your 30s. There's a good chance she will regret it at 45, and then she might have decades more of loneliness and treating an animal like a child.
