Both men/women should get HPV vaccines & be tested. Everyone is responsible for their sexual reproductive health. Fellatio also spreads HPV, and HPV has diff strains. Some mean cancer, some do not, most HPV goes away on it's own, and doesn't equal cancer. Be safe, be educated.

Simply calling your opinion science doesn't make it so, but it is entertaining. I used to really respect you when I just knew you from your Youtube videos. Imagine my surprise when I find you trolling people on twitter. Disappointing.
-
It's not Stefan's *opinion*, it's supported by research. See the graphs some of us tweeted. He isn't trolling people, it is advice for those who DO want children. If friends of mine knew this, they wouldn't have waited until 42 to have children & find out it's too late.

HPV, which /can/ lead to cancer but not always, and does have a vaccine, can be passed on via fellatio, cunnilingus, anal sex, oral sex, or really all...all of that. So it's about being smart about STIs and stuff. IDK why Stefan didn't say 'oral sex in general can give ppl HPV'

Oops somehow I tweeted into the wrong thread. It was meant for the thread about babies later in life. But usually most of what Stefan says is based on research he read up on, or interviews with experts in the field. For that watch all his videos - huge job.

I am on this topic though, my duderoni. This initial tweet he made was simplifying the topic and omitting information, which is not engaging in good faith. Right? That's misrepresenting information. If he does this elsewhere, this is poor rhetoric. I would hope he does not.

People have always thought science to be insanity. Pasteur was laughed out of the room for suggesting germ theory of disease and they wanted to commit him to a mental hospital

Yes this is exactly the same thing

Yes science is still science
