100% of those I know, which is not scientific of course. Getting accurate answers would be almost impossible, because it would require an older woman to admit a giant mistake.https://twitter.com/joakinzz/status/1157073968534315008 …

I stayed @ home for 12 years to raise 3 boys. Husband worked like crazy, had to do without many things, no vacations, few dinners out but it was the best decision I ever made. Children need their mothers at home. No regrets

I watched my wife go from "maybe kids" to hearing her biological clock ticking like that freaking alligator that followed Captain Hook around. People might say they dont want kids now but if the day ever comes they are going to want kids like nothing they've ever wanted before

From my informal survey of women I know who are unmarried and childless & over 40, only one of them acts happy. She's ultra successful AND has a barn full of nieces, nephews that she dotes on. All the others are significantly less happy and talk in very bitter terms about life.

I thank my wisdom coming just in time to have my daughter, for if I hadn’t I am fairly sure I’d’ve taken that big jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. I bought all that stuff we were taught by feminists that raising kids is a waste of time for a serious woman. Wish I’d had 2 more...

& @joakinZz, I would have to note that any observation would be colored through the glass of their choice. Those with children could never know their life without, and vice versa. But if one thinks they made the wrong decision, they're probably right.

Are all women who have children happy? I bet not 100%. For some women (and men) they don’t find the right one in time to have children. I would have loved children young but it didn’t happen. Do I sometimes wish that I had children? Of course. Am I happy with my life? You bet

your argument can never be scientific because it’s founded on a baseless assumption: that having children is a woman’s purpose for being on earth. scientific arguments are founded on pre-existing data. you gather evidence and extrapolate one step ahead. you have no evidence.
