I think you're onto something here - the emergence of "I feel offended" being sufficient grounds to take legal action reeks of estrogen. I tend to see the open borders bleeding-heart compassion for illegal immigrants thing as being from women too but I'm sure its more than that.
So many women feel bullied just by seeing a contrary opinion, it’s no wonder we‘re losing free speech. Very sad.
