They already do. They also control our money. And have access to all our information. Resistance is not impossible, but it will have to be very clever. It takes a big machine to control that much. And big machines have a way of being sabotaged.

I am Canadian where we have a public health care plan. Supposedly
@BernieSanders thinks we have the best plan. Cuz its "free". Nope. Not even close. Taxpayers foot the bill to the tune of abt a thousand $$/month. The emergency care is not bad, although you will wait in (1) -
Hospital hallways if your issue is triaged as not serious enough. Regular and non emergent care is rationed. Need a hip replacement? Expect an 18 month wait in pain and loss of enjoyment of life while you do. Doctors routinely no longer do screening tests that (2)

Used to be common, ie mammograms after 40, due to cost, unless you can prove strong family hx of breast cancer. Awesome, huh. Need a specialist appt? Good luck. I needed to see a neurologist last year for misdiagnosed severe headaches. 18 month waiting list. (3)

Prescription drugs do seem to be cheaper. But they're also rationed. So, my American friends, be careful what you wish for. "Free" always comes with a catch. That catch could be your life. Lots of Cdn examples of that. Not sure what the best plan is, just know ours is not.

Feel free to tell all of the other countries in the world that have government-controlled healthcare that they are actually enslaved. Much better to be denied resistance when private healthcare companies control your life.

I imaging a day when sick old white guys are regularly and unofficially euthanized by the POC hospital staff, and any disapproving (white) docs don't dare speak up out of fear of losing their jobs. Maybe we're already there. Bottom line: don't get sick.
