This is kinda interesting. I have nothing against tattoo's, but I feel to wear something forever it has to mean a whole lot.

25 or so years ago I noticed, anecdotally, a strong correlation of possessing tattoos to having been raised in day care facilities.

And with people who drank too much as a young adult

So if I visit a psychiatrist, I'm likely to get a month supply of adderall with an arm sleeve tattoo.

Coming into contact with something and being in need of something are not mutually exclusive. Not keeping pace with time was enough to put me in contact with mental health services as a child, but I'm sure that without all those misplaced hours I wouldn't be right here right now.

Something we agree on

I would say smoking is a bigger indicator, there are very few people with serious mental illnesses who don't smoke.

Sucks when counter culture becomes the norm. I’d be such a different person if I was born 20 years later!

I can’t stand the sight of them! Tattoos remind me of “possession” since the slaves of old were marked in some way as were prisoners. #sensusfidelium has spoken of the spiritual dangers too. People should consider drawing or painting instead..it’s much more therapeutic

I have a couple but if I had none today I wouldn’t even think about inking my body. Now that this ship is sailed I maybe get a couple more eventually.
