The 16th century called. They want their stupid misogynistic rules back.

Literally none of that is required. None of it.

Haha it's ok for people to tell us ad nauseum to wait to have kids, but if Stefan says don't wait, then it's "none of your business."
-
My only issue here is with his narrow allowance to women of what we “need” to do. Nobody ever told me I “need” to wait to have kids, it’s usually just a suggestion. Or discussed for the comparison to how things have been in the past ( i.e., women having their children younger)
-
All of the things in the "need" column are good suggestions though for someone that wants to have a family with the father present. Women take a lot of risks getting pregnant, and being certain to choose a good man can help to decrease some of those risks.

When I was an adolescent I couldn’t understand/have the patience for what seemed to be the “old-fashioned” ways of adults. Growing up is gaining an understanding of EONS-old wisdom in how to gain and maintain a happy and prosperous society. Ignorance of such is elder abuse.

As a woman, I know I love it when men give me advice I didn’t ask for.

You're welcome.

Stefan, what are your thoughts on in vitro procedures? Technically you don't need a man for it. My only concern with that is single motherhood but at 30 one would hope the woman knows what she is getting herself into.
-
My religion forbids in vitro procedures, so for me it would never happen. But besides the "flushing" of viable unwanted embryos once a woman has carried a child to term, there is huge expense. And what do you tell a child when they ask about Daddy?
-
Understandable. And like I said, my main concern with in vitro is indeed single parenting. Sadly, that is almost normal in today's society. A lot of kids grow up without daddy present
I was simply putting it out there as a suggestion for women who feel pressured by the "clock" -
I wish doctors would tell young women that they only have a small window of optimal fertility! So sad to see all these desperate couples who waited too long.
-
I know what you mean. My sister in law was only told her pregnancy posed a "risk" after she was already carrying. And she was 32 at the time. I only know cuz everyone in my family keeps reminding me lmao

It can be streamlined, but I don't recommend it.

I’m the only person I know who got a house, married and then had kids. All in my 30’s. figure out your life before you have kids.
