Been reading this with interest. My wife stayed at home. Made things harder not having two incomes, but with three kids (2 autistic, 1 with epilepsy), made all the difference. All 3 in college now. We may never own a house, but we had a home to pass to our kids.

They’re upset because, try as they might, abandoning foundational family values fails. They simply cannot build real self worth and validation thru their means. Then people like Stefan come along and say it out loud and the triggering simply is too much. They already feel it

They think their career is going to fulfill them. It’s not. A job is such a hollow thing to put your entire life into. Then they go out of their way to disparage house wives who love and nurture children. Many can’t understand the love and bond that forms with your own children

Maybe the women that have been triggered are triggered because they know for a fact you are right. My kids are my world. I do not regret any of them. I would definitely regret it if I didn't have any kids. You are just speaking the truth and that truth obviously hurts.
