No. It’s shocking and sad. It’s definitely not across the board behavior either. My 11 yo would die of humiliation if somebody suggested she act like this or wear clothing that revealing.

Could the chemicals and hormones in modern food have something to do with this?

Probably more reasonable to blame the hormones&chemicals in our food that alter our hormones&affect the onset of girl's menstrual cycle.Maybe the absence of a father means there is less money to put towards healthy,fresh eating...more chemicals in their diet?Cause&Correlation

Part of the sexualization part can be due to what they are exposed to on screen, television, music, peers and even absorbing the behaviors of the adults in their lives. Maybe there is less involvement or quality time.

Girls are developing earlier because of all the damn hormones in our food. Some parents need their parent card taken away, and that includes dads. Unfortunately, children are an entitlement in the US. Doesn't matter if you can't afford them or have any clue how to raise them.

Nutrition is the most cited reason for mensturating earlier. As for the behavior, that's a parenting/mimicking issue. These girls are dancing how they see others dance. They dress and act how their parents permit them to. It's sad and shameful how far they have fallen.

In some cultures girls of that age are sold to marriage by their fathers. And are having children. I think the answer lies elsewhere.
