Boomers are the least apt to hire illegals and most likely voted for Trump for his stance on immigration. Selfishness? There has been lots of criticism of boomers but most of the immigration rules were in place before boomers were old enough to vote. I was only 13 in 1965

A friend of mine (no, not me) believes that the southern border immigrants will only continue to grow in number and turn the US on its head. The US will become a largely Latino population. Don't know if he's correct, but the fear is not unfounded.

It used to be that mass immigration benefited the US. What changed?

2 many 2 fast. I think YouTube (Blue collar logic) on immigration nails it. I also think that not only Americans , but the land in America needs a 20 year respite on any more immigrants. It's been done before. Foreigners need to make their own country great.

I welcome all tourist to America (stay as long as 90 days, then go home) Our immigration system needs a MAJOR overhaul. I'd even welcome retired people from other countries if they can pay there own way.

An understanding of the private benefit/public cost problem underlies much of the federal environmental law from the last 50 years, yet a policy of importing millions of people annually doesn't require so much as an environmental impact statement
